氰版法是一種以紫外線感光的影像複印技術，歷史相當悠久，為John William Herschel於 1840 年研發，其方法為將檸檬酸鐵氨與鐵氰化鉀混合成感光液，透過光線感光、水洗顯影。由於氰版的成像結果為藍色，也被稱為藍曬法，因藍曬法複製的成本低、費時少，是一種有效率且穩定、易保存的製圖方式，常用於負片、植物、繪圖稿的轉印。
《氰－The Light Chaser》全冊以氰版法作為特殊的單色調印刷技術，結合其手工操作與偶然性，並透過顯影劑的施作變化(平塗、刮擦、海綿、鹽巴、噴灑等)，製作出四本看似相同，卻獨一無二的16頁手縫穿線裝幀的ZINE，賦予設計作品嶄新的樣貌。
"氰－The Light Chaser" is an entire publication created using Cyanotype, a distinctive monochromatic printing technique. It involves a blend of manual manipulation and serendipity, as well as experimentation with various development methods such as brushing, scraping, sponging, salt sprinkling, spraying, and more. The result is four distinctive 16-page ZINEs, meticulously hand-stitched and bound. While each ZINE appears deceptively similar, they each possess their own unique essence, giving the design work a fresh and innovative appearance.

Using the same set of negatives and varying types of paper, along with applying photosensitive chemicals in different ways, each ZINE is unique.
